A word from the Chair of Governors

Education has always been important to me from reading voraciously from an early age to now trying to keep up with the latest technology.  But, as you can see, I believe education is far more than just academic prowess:  the benefit in providing a rounded experience of learning in all its forms is vitally important in allowing anyone to be the very best they can be.  That’s what I believe we look to provide at William Gilpin.  Of course competence in the core subjects remains paramount but I see our role as governors as supporters of the all round experience provided by the amazing staff of William Gilpin to ensure that all our children leave the school ready to make the most of their own unique talents.
